Amari & Rosoli Red Mulberry Rosolio 10 cl

“Frutti Speciali” – Artisanal Liqueur

The wild red mulberry rosolio produced by Amari&Rosoli is an artisanal digestif liqueur made by infusing wild red mulberries, hand-picked in the territory of the Murgia Barese. The result is a very sweet, vanilla-scented liqueur, best served chilled after meals.

Excellent served ice-cold at the end of a meal, either on its own or accompanied by a delicious fruit dessert. It is also ideal for enhancing lemon sorbets and fruit ice creams.

Ingredients: fine food-grade alcohol, sugar syrup, alcoholic infusion of red mulberries.

Format: 10 cl
Alcohol content: 35% vol.

What is the red mulberry?

The mulberry is generally a wild-growing plant whose fruits, known as “mulberries”, are used to produce this digestif liqueur. Depending on the colour of its fruit, the mulberry can be white, black or red.

Extremely delicate, the berries are harvested by hand or by placing a net, similar to those used for olive harvesting, beneath the trees and raised slightly above the ground. Due to the exceptional delicacy of mulberries, the net must be emptied every day, as even the weight of the fruit itself could damage the berries lying at the bottom.
