Tasting notes: Deep and intense ruby-red colour.

A rich aromatic profile revealing nuances of ripe fruit such as raspberry and blackcurrant, together with woodland aromas. Notes of plum and cherry are enveloped by the sweet scent of ripe Marasca cherry, with intriguing spicy hints of chocolate, coconut and coffee.

On the palate, it is rich and highly concentrated, with spicy notes enhanced by a substantial presence of very soft, sweet tannins.

Producer’s notes: Fermentation takes place using a natural method, thanks to indigenous yeasts. Maceration lasts from 3 to 5 weeks, depending on the characteristics of the grape variety and the vintage. After racking, the wines are transferred into 225-litre barriques.
